Add a Bank Account

Documentation | Checkbook

There are two options for adding a bank account:

  • Manual Verification, which consists of making two micro-deposits on the newly added bank account, which will show up the next working day. Once the micro-deposits have arrived in the bank account, you need to send those values back to us in order to prove the ownership of the account.
  • Instant Account Verification, also known as IAV, which consists in using online banking credentials to log in to the bank that holds the account. If the account is protected by multi-factor authentication, also known as MFA, some additional questions need to be answered in order to connect. Once the connection is established, the bank account can be added instantly from the list of accounts available.
